How to book a session

How to book a session at Tree Tops

If you would like to book and pay for Tree Tops using ParentPay, please follow the steps below.

Payment using Childcare Vouchers or Tax-free Childcare (TFC) payments is only available by prior arrangement and must be requested in advance of booking. For further information, please click here. If we agree to payment using Childcare Vouchers or Tax-free Childcare (TFC) payments, you must still book your sessions using ParentPay.

Steps to book a Tree Tops session

1. Log in to ParentPay.

2. Click on your child's icon to go to their homepage. Click on 'Book meals and places‘ and then 'Make bookings' on the left-hand menu.

3. Select the session type and the required week commencing date from the drop-down boxes, then click ‘Make or view bookings’.

4. For each day that you wish to book the session type you have selected, click on ‘Book a session’. Click ‘Next week’ to move onto subsequent weeks. When you have made all your selections, click on ‘Confirm bookings’ at the bottom of the page.

5. When you click on ‘Confirm bookings’, you will be taken to your basket for payment.

You can choose to pay straight away or continue shopping and add additional sessions. Please note that you must pay within 2 hours of confirming your booking or your selections will be automatically cancelled by the ParentPay system. All sessions must be paid for at the time of booking.

You may make changes to your booking up until the booking deadline.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you cancel a session before the booking deadline, the cost of the session will be credited to your ParentPay account balance for you to use for a future session. Please be aware that the credit will be specific to the type of session you cancelled, e.g., Breakfast Club, After School Club Full session etc. If you would like your credit allocated to another type of session, please email the Tree Tops team at:

A refund will only be given for cancellations made after the booking deadline in exceptional circumstances. Absence from school due to illness or any other reason is not an exceptional circumstance although we will always treat requests for a refund on an individual, case by case basis.

Please note that it is ParentPay policy that all payments made through ParentPay by credit or debit card or bank transfer are non-refundable after 24 months.  Any credit remaining on a ParentPay Tree Tops account after this period will be non-refundable. It is a parent or carer’s responsibility to keep track of the balance in their ParentPay Tree Tops account.

Booking Deadlines

You may book a session up to 100 days in advance. The cut-off deadline for booking a session is at midnight 3 full days before the session.

Monday's sessions: book by midnight on Thursday

Tuesday's sessions: book by midnight on Friday

Wednesday's sessions: book by midnight on Saturday

Thursday's sessions: book by midnight on Sunday

Friday's sessions: book by midnight on Monday

Late Bookings

Late bookings, after the 3 day cut-off deadline, cannot be made on ParentPay and are subject to an additional charge of £5 per session. Late booking charges will be automatically added to your ParentPay account as a debit. Places are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that a late booking will be possible.

For Breakfast Club sessions, by 11:00 am the day before;

For After School Club sessions, by 11:00 am on the day.

We will check availability and place your child’s name on the register if we can offer a place. Please wait for confirmation from us before assuming your child has a place.
