After School & Lunchtime Clubs for the Summer Term 2022
Please see the attachment below for a downloadable copy of this schedule.
Clubs are available to children in Year 1 – 6 only.
Clubs run for 11 weeks except Busy Lizzy Pottery and Khalsa Karate which run for 10 weeks. All clubs start the week of Monday 25th April and run up to and including the week of 11th July. Please note that Khalsa Karate will not have a session on Tuesday 24th May.
The week of Monday 18th July will be catch-up week when any cancelled sessions or sessions missed due to the bank holiday and INSET days in May will be made up. Please refer to this link for further information on the weeks that clubs run: Dates for Extracurricular Clubs
All after school clubs run from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. Clubs marked as a ‘lunchtime club’ in the schedule above run during the school day. If your child is attending a lunchtime club, you must provide them with a packed lunch from home on that day.
Clubs marked ‘apply directly’ in the schedule above are run by external providers. Bookings for these clubs are made directly with the providers and not school. For further information and contact details for these clubs, follow this link: Extracurricular Club Providers
For all other clubs, you should apply and pay through ParentPay. Once a club is fully subscribed, you will not be able to select it through ParentPay. If this is the case, and you would like your child to be placed on the club’s waiting list, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
When booking through ParentPay, you will be asked to provide the details of any allergies and medical or other needs your child may have. You must also provide an emergency contact name and telephone number. These details are passed to your child’s club leader, and you must tick the consent box to allow us to share the information given. Please note that it is the parent or legal guardian’s responsibility to ensure the information we hold is up-to-date.
In the interests of fairness to all families, if a club is oversubscribed, priority on the waiting list will be given to children who are not already attending another after school club at Fern Hill. We recommend that children attend a maximum of three clubs a week, including those run by external providers.
Clubs will only run if minimum numbers are reached. Your ParentPay payment receipt acts as confirmation of the club you have booked. Sessions are non-refundable.
Children must wear shin pads and long socks in order to participate in the football clubs. If they arrive for a session without this equipment, they will not be able to play.
For information regarding where to collect your child when their club ends, please follow this link: Club Collection Points
If your child is in Year 6 and you would like them to travel home alone after their club, you MUST inform the school office in writing before their first club session. This is the case for both school run clubs and clubs run by external providers.
Any changes in collection arrangements for your child, e.g., they are going to be collected by a friend, must be notified in advance to: email@example.com
If you have any queries regarding school clubs at Fern Hill, please contact the Clubs Administrator at: firstname.lastname@example.org
