Fern Hill Primary Voluntary Fund
Registered Charity Number 1170469
The purpose of the Voluntary Fund is to relieve the impact of the reducing government funding of schools which, if left unaddressed, would soon leave the school in an unsustainable financial position.
The objectives of the charity are to advance the education of pupils at Fern Hill primary School by providing or assisting in the provision of facilities not required to be provided by the Local Education Authority for education at the school.
The conclusion of our Parent Survey in 2016 indicated that more than 66 per cent of respondents were willing to make voluntary contributions and this led to the setting up of the Voluntary Fund.
Your support & generosity to date has enabled us to keep our ICT replacement and development programme on track. Thank you.
Making a Contribution to the Voluntary Fund
Contributions are voluntary; there is no obligation to make one and families should donate only as much as they are able, or would like, to. Any amount, however large or small, is very welcome. A contribution of £10 a month, if made by every family, would help us raise up to £50,000 towards renewing ICT equipment used to support and enhance the curriculum.
How to Make Payment
There are a number of ways you can make a donation and you are free to choose when and how you do it. You can make a single, one-off contribution, or set up a regular monthly, termly, or annual payment. Depending on the method you use, payments can be made via ParentPay, using childcare vouchers or paid directly into the Voluntary Fund bank account. Please see the attachment below: 'Making a Contribution to the Fern Hill Primary Voluntary Fund'.
Fern Hill Primary Voluntary Fund is a registered charity and eligible for gift aid. If you are a UK tax payer and complete and return the Gift Aid Declaration Form, attached below, we can claim gift aid on your donation. This means we will receive an additional 25p for every £1 you donate. This would add £30 to an annual donation of £120!
