Daisy Class were very excited to go on their first school trip on the bus to Kingston Museum. In a storytelling session they learnt a lot about King Athelstan (did you know he was the first King of a united England, the first King to be portrayed wearing a crown and he was crowned in Kingston?). 

They even joined in to help him stop the Vikings from stealing shiny things and their teacher! They enjoyed a workshop making coins and looking at Anglo Saxon artefacts.
