You are warmly invited to attend our annual Arts Week Exhibition which opens on Thursday 7th February for a strictly limited, two-day run!
The exhibition will run after school today, Thursday 7th February, and tomorrow, Friday 8th February, from 3.15 pm. Please do pop in and take a wander through the corridors to enjoy the fantastic artwork the children have created over the last two weeks. School will be open to families until 5.00 pm on both days.
From comic strip cartoons and self-portraits inspired by pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, to a whole year ‘tribe of kids’ based on the work of illustrator Lane Smith, the children have been producing some fabulous work. Following the theme of ‘Stories and Illustrators’ each year group spent Arts Week exploring the work of their chosen artist or illustrator and experimenting with different artistic styles and media including clay, felt and photography.
Have a look at the Arts Week gallery for a preview of the work on show!
