The children of Year 3, brightly dressed in yellow and black, were buzzing with excitement as they completed their plant studies with a day dedicated to bees.  Everyone enjoyed learning about the importance of bees. The children made, ate, and then wrote instructions for making honey sandwiches. In maths they discovered how hexagons tessellate.

Nate's granddad, 'Professor Plant', came to talk to the children in the afternoon, sharing his knowledge from working at Kew Gardens.
