The gates into the nursery, Key Stage 1 playground and Key Stage 2 playground are locked approximately 5 minutes after the whistle has blown in the mornings. The only access to the school during the school day is through the main entrance where a security door prevents casual access. All visitors are expected to sign in and out when they leave. They are given a badge to wear to indicate they are an official visitor.
No child is allowed to leave the school, or meet with a parent/carer during the day unless a prior arrangement has been agreed.
An accessibility audit has been carried out and we are pleased to be able to say that our facilities are good in the way they provide for people with a variety of disabilities. We plan to ensure that our building remains as accessible as possible to all users. The school has an accessibility plan which is monitored by the governors and they constantly seek to ensure our building is as user friendly as possible.
