Science Curriculum Outline

Through science children develop a knowledge and understanding of themselves and the world around them. The school aims to promote scientific ways of higher order thinking, experimenting and investigating such as curiosity, perseverance, co-operation and sensitivity to living organisms.

Scientific skills taught include – predicting, observing, hypothesising, questioning, testing, recording, sorting, classifying and drawing conclusions.
