Common School Bugs

Throughout their school life many children will experience some of the following common illnesses.  Please be assured that these are not uncommon and not usually anything to worry about.  We have outlined below some that you may come across.

• Head Lice - child should remain in school and receive treatment at home
• Impetigo - child to be kept at home until blistering has cleared
• Slapped Cheek -  child should remain in school if they feel well
• Hand Foot & Mouth - child should stay at home until symptoms disappear
• Scarlet Fever - child should be kept at home until temperature is normal and blotches clear
• Sickness & Diarrhoea - child should not come to school for 24 hrs after the last bout of sickness
• Thread worms - child should remain in school and receive treatment at home

Parent Pay Activation 

As promised before half term, ParentPay will go live this term – parents will be able to order lunches, book clubs, make payments and receive email communication via ParentPay from 12^th March 2018.

Activation letters will be sent home in book bags over the next few days.  Please look out for these and follow the instructions in order to activate your account and allow us to send you email communication on the new system. 

We also ask that all parents set up ParentPay as a payment method: ParentPay accepts MasterCard, Visa and Amex credit cards, and Maestro, Switch, Delta, Electron, Solo and Visa debit cards.

Lunches and clubs for the Summer term will be available to book via ParentPay from 12^th March; payments (where relevant) will be required at the time of booking.
