Humanities Curriculum Outline
History is concerned with the knowledge that things change and understanding why.
Geography develops the knowledge of place (both locally and globally).
Skills are developed through map work and visits, when appropriate. The National Curriculum requires specific areas covered at Key Stage2. These include Invaders and Settlers to Britain, Life in Tudor Times, Ancient Greece and Local History. In addition to these we study either Victorian Britain or Britain since 1930 and a past non-European society.
