Year 6 Royal Courts of Justice

Year 6 Royal Courts of Justice

Written by Amber & Anna (Willow Class)

“First we set off at nine o’clock. We walked to the station, then took a train to Waterloo. Then, we walked through London and saw famous land marks like Big Ben and the Shard. Once we had reached the Royal Courts of justice, we realised how old the building was and that we had to keep quiet because of the court cases going on around us. We were taken into a court room and we acted out a case about a ten year old boy called John Henry Wainman. He was proved not guilty. We learnt all about the different courts and the types of cases they try. We all enjoyed our trip”.
