Year 6 WW11
Kingston Museum visited Fern Hill this week to share with Year 6 a variety of genuine artefacts from World War 2. Children were excited to gain a clearer insight into what life may have been like during the War.
"The session was great! We got to learn all about how Kingston was affected during the war. The best part was dressing up in the war time outfits, most of the boys dressed up in the nurse outfits!"
Amelie, Oak Class
Kingston Museum instrutor mentioned the fantastic behaviour of Year 6 and how they had been the best group of children they had ever provided the workshop for.
