Day 4: Final Thoughts...

Heading home soon...

The children are currently enjoying the last of their two activities before having lunch and getting on the coach. It has been a brilliant four days. The instructors and staff of Grovesnor Hall have consistently praised the children who have shown the four values and many of the 6R's and it is clear that all of Year 5 have gained so much from the experience. It has been a pleasure to have spent the week with them and seen the extent to which they have matured and gained independence. We have been incredibly lucky with the weather and I think all of the children would sign up to come again next year if they could.

I would also like to thank the staff who have given so much to make the trip  memorable: Mr Scott, Mrs Wylde, Mr Langridge, Miss Elahi, Miss Turnbull, Mr Sinclair, Mrs Evans, Mrs James, Mrs McLaughlin, Mrs Whitehouse and, particularly Mrs Naik, who have not stopped in their efforts to ensure that the children are motivated and happy at all times. They have kept the children smiling and enthused and some of them have even taken on a few of activities - far braver than me!

They are certainly deserving of a rest this weekend...

We are aiming to leave after lunch today at 1.30pm, so we will be back at school at the end of the day. See you soon!
